​Parent University

Parent University is a one-day back-to-school family event where parents choose academic and health-related classes based on their individual needs. The purpose is to provide support for parents to help their children. In lieu of a "degree", parents earn a backpack filled with school supplies and a voucher towards the purchase of school uniforms.

The ēCO Credit Union Foundation was excited to be invited to Parent University to teach the "Money Matters" course to the parents attending. We were so impressed with the program that we also gave a $750 grant to honor their efforts in spreading financial education throughout their community.

2017 ēCO Credit Union Foundation Scholarship

In Spring 2017, we awarded our first ever ēCO Credit Union Foundation Scholarship to a very deserving recipient, Jordan Rose. This is just a portion of what your donations are doing in our community. 
Being awarded the ēCO Credit Union Foundation Scholarship will be an immediate, tangible benefit to my career. This award will lessen the amount of student debt that I will incur while paying for my college tuition as well as other miscellaneous expenses associated with this process.

Lastly having ēCO Credit Union invest in me personally, has provided me with an additional fervor. One that is extremely focused and that seeks to use the tools I’m learning to benefit those in my community just as this award has afforded me."
